God's Boundaries

Scripture:  Deuteronomy 4 v 2 - 4: "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
3  Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you.
4  But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day."

Throughout the Bible we receive instructions from God on right and wrong behaviour.  He does not allow us to interpret His commands to suit our own perspective.  We cannot alter them in any way to justify or excuse our wrong behaviour and attitudes.

We inherit our nature from God and He wants to see it expressed in such a way that He is glorified by us.  Essentially, He wants to see His pure, true, loving, untarnished, unvarnished, righteous nature reflected in us.

Instead He gets a mixture of things in each one of us because we stray across the boundaries He has set.  We need to consider our ways and make some attitude adjustments.  Our Father is changing us into the likeness of Jesus, so Jesus is our model for what is good and acceptable.

We may be a long way from perfect but we need to begin today to eliminate those things that are glaringly obvious as being unlike Jesus.  Let's start with the time He spent in prayer to His Father.  It was a lot of time, whole night's on the mountain so He could do on Earth what the Father spiritually showed Him in Heaven.

This means taking time to seek the face of the Father to receive input to help ourselves and others in time of need.  Not just reeling off a quick prayer and feeling pleased with it, but waiting on God for insight and direction which could change lives.

Jesus said in John 15 that we must love one another as the Father loves Him.  That is very big and powerful love.  And it means putting the needs of others before our own needs.  The Me First Club has to go, and be replaced with JOY.  Jesus first, yourself last and others in between.  Spells J O Y.

We need to renew our minds, the way we think, as it says in Romans 12 v 1.  We must conform to the Word and will of God.  We must measure our responses by the yardstick of Bible teaching.

We must try the spirits says John, to see if they are of God.  Even the ministers that preach to us should be evaluated by trying the spirit of the leaders.  Whatever rules the leadership spiritually will show up all through the congregation.

If there is wrong doing from one speaking from the pulpit, say adultery, then people in the congregation will be affected by that same spirit of sexual sin and Jezebel  will have moved into that church.  The Lord needs to find obedience in the pulpit to turn those churches around or the presence of the Holy Spirit will be removed and nothing significant will occur like salvation, healing, deliverance.  The church will grow cold and may become a bingo hall.

Let's look at King Henry 8 of Britain who split from the Pope and the Catholic Church, a good thing, because he wanted to divorce his wife rather than keep beheading those wives who were barren.  So the Church of England, or Anglican Church began.  It still kept many of the wrong doctrines of the Roman Catholics and is still a mixture of this today.  How does Almighty God see this church from its sinful beginnings till now?  Was the foundation of it on the Rock of Jesus Christ or the carnal desires of a king?

It has affected Britain in many ways but the original spirit of murder, adultery, division, divorce and sorrow has permeated down the centuries.  The mix of other religions with Christianity has caused Christian England and the fervour of great men of God, like John and Charles Wesley, who split from the Anglican Church to form the Methodists, to be somewhat faded.

I am not attacking these churches just pointing out some obvious fundamental problems which seem to be swept under the carpet and covered with traditions, pomp and ceremony to make it look wonderful but souls are not being saved by any of this.  That is the problem.  I was a staunch Anglican until I was born again at age of 25 and set free to have a living relationship with Jesus.

2 Corinthians 6 v 14 - 18: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

This is what our Father says about any church that does not preach the whole gospel of Jesus Christ.  Remember the first verse in Deuteronomy up top, do not add or subtract or diminish His words.  When the churches stop short of John 3 v 3 where Jesus said we must be born again before we can perceive Heaven, then they do not have Him in their hearts or in their midst.

I am called by God the Father to speak truth to any who seek such truth.  It is hard to see how far the various denominations have fallen.  They are happily joining with Interdenominational churches and other religions, some of whom hate, kill and persecute Christians, in the very popular Interfaith Meetings.  These are the roots of the Antichrist One World Religion that will bring peace to the world and end religious wars.  They think.

Please open your eyes, ears, hearts to what the Lord is saying today.  Come out, separate yourselves, He will be your Father.  He will save you from the coming tribulation.  The warning bells are already ringing with Covid 19.  Some are listening and changing.  Even in Iran where there is a revival of Christianity right now, causing consternation amongst the ruling Islamic party.

Our God is calling His people everywhere to check His boundaries and find a place where these boundaries are not being compromised.  Because if we are in a place where we are feeding on poisoned fruit we will surely perish.  God's love is insistent, powerful and now.  But do not think it is for those who continue in unrighteousness, it is not.  They think He will never discard anyone so they can do what they like.  They are so wrong.

Prayer: Heavenly Father Thank You for the boundaries You have set in place so that we know which side of them we must be at all times.  Help us Father to reach out to those who truly want You but are trapped in confusion and deceit.  Open their eyes O God, to truth and true peace.  In Jesus' name. Amen.
