Scripture: Luke 21 v 25-27: "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."
We are living in these days and times when these things Jesus spoke of are coming on the Earth. Some are here already, others on the doorstep. The absolute only hope and joy we have is the coming of Jesus to rescue those who put their faith in Him and obey the Word of God.
I wrote these words at the time when the global pandemic was first announced and the first lockdown had just started. March 2020. It is taking its toll on the whole world and changing the dynamics of our way of life.
The powers of heaven are the Prince of Darkness; the rulers and principalities of Satan's kingdom. Powerful demonic beings who control events on earth. The Covid-19 crisis, which is a dark spiritual invasion which defies all human efforts to control it.
It comes in invisible waves like swarms locusts, and affects and infects where it wants to, controlled by an evil, unseen enemy of every human being. This enemy knows that Jesus Christ is returning soon to Earth and he has escalated his ability to kill, maim and destroy.
His target is everything on Earth. He wants to destroy God's creation through hate, spite, malice, cruelty, violence, death, illness, chaos, mayhem, earthquakes, tsunamis, pandemics, superstorms, eruptions etc. Whatever God loves is his target from time immemorial. But these powers in the sky are being shaken because when the enemy comes in like a flood, God will raise up a standard.
They are being shaken by two things - the advance of Jesus Christ to take His property back (The Earth is Mine and all who dwell in it), and the anointed prayers of true believers who confront the power of evil day and night.
The power of the Holy Spirit, unseen but omnipresent on Earth and in Heaven, protects this planet from total destruction by Satan.
Job 26 v 6 - 13: "Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
12 He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent."
In the past week there have been fierce storms on our star, the Sun. This has caused the beautiful Aurora Borealis to provide glorious colours in the northern hemisphere. Thankfully this Sun storm was on the opposite side to Earth and the fiery flare went hundreds of millions of kilometres the other way or we would have been toast.
There is a nasty asteroid the size of the Eiffel Tower causing some alarm to space watchers as it will come rather close to Earth in the near future. However, scientists have discovered that under the Moon's mantle lies a vast ocean of oxygen that could support the whole population of Earth for 100,000 years. Bit far off but its out there.
The Lord God Almighty knows that when the Christians leave this planet the Holy Spirit will go with them and the Great Tribulation, called the Wrath of the Lamb will begin, the final 42 months, or three and a half years before the final battle of Armageddon takes place. That's when the combined armies of the world under the Antichrist, the manifested presence of Satan, attack Israel.
2 Thessalonians 2 v 7 - 10: "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."
In verse 7, it means that He, the Holy Spirit, who now prevents Satan destroying the Earth will keep doing this until He, the Holy Spirit, is taken out of the way. That is, in the Rapture of believers.
Then that Wicked will be known and will be defeated at Armageddon, who deceived the world because they received not the love of the truth about Jesus. The powers of heaven above will be shaken and more than that, overcome by the One who is greater than them all. Armageddon is not the end of the world, but it is the end of Satan's control. He will be consigned to the Abyss for 1000 years while Jesus restores the Earth.
True believers are those who refuse to compromise with false doctrines, abounding in the churches which have exchanged enlightenment for entertainment; who have swapped preaching against sin for improving your self-image; who have become part of the heretical Interfaith Movement in which all paths lead to God. Not.
Jesus said there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth among those who say Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name and did miracles. He will tell them, I never knew you; depart from Me those who did not do the will of My Father; those who preferred sin to righteousness.
Actually we are supposed to keep the devil out of our lives and churches. Unfortunately he has been let loose to deceive, trick and destroy at will. And he is winning hands down.
I am an Intercessor, a watchman. God says if I do not warn you then even though you die I will be held guilty of not warning you and thereby will be guilty of your death and loss to the kingdom of God. So I am saying it as plain as can be. The heavens where these demons operate from are being shaken by true prophets, Watchmen, prayer warriors to cause the demons to fall, and to rescue the people who have fallen into their traps. They are pulling down the strongholds of Satan over humans and institutions and governments bound by allegiance to the Antichrist.
Come out of the places of compromise, error, cult behaviour, contamination contrary to the Word of God. The revival will start with weeping for sin not laughter at God. It will cleanse your heart, mind and flesh of all evil and restore you to truth and righteousness. The powers of heaven are shaken and will fall. Their fall will cause Earth to be hotter and weather out of control like droughts or floods or superstorms. These are the signs in the Heavens, the sky above Earth, that Jesus spoke about before His crucifixion.
Their shaken fall will cause earthquakes, tsunamis, famine, pandemics and many tribulations but our joy is not compromised because our eternal King is coming for us. His name is Jesus Christ and He knows all things. He knows who are His. Be sure you are one of them.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, it will soon be over and we will be home with You in Heaven where there is joy forever more. No sickness nor suffering no death. We will rejoice in Your presence and worship You for our salvation. Thank You for the signs in Heaven above that tell us His coming is near. Touch them all Father, who are wandering in darkness. Send Your Light to show the true path. In Jesus' name. Amen.
