Scripture: Revelation 2 v 3 - 5: "And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."
The words of Jesus, Who is the Truth, telling us if we do not love God with the same fervour as when we first got saved, we have fallen from grace so we must repent and renew our commitment, or face a block to the Anointing. That's when we are running on empty.
The way to keep this love for God alive is through reading and heeding the Bible daily. It's also having good fellowship with other Christians, sharing how Jesus has blessed us, praying together, meeting one another's needs.
This is basic Christian living so we must get in the habit of showing the fruit of the Holy Spirit all the time. Never make a promise to donate to Christians and then change your mind or only give part of the amount.
In Acts 5 Ananias and Sapphira did that and Peter asked them why Satan had filled their hearts to lie to the Holy Spirit. They both died on the spot. The Holy Spirit is a Person who can be grieved, blasphemed or lied to, the outcome of such sin is either death or Hell. Peter had no chance to even say repent, ask forgiveness. Instant final judgment.
Numbers 3 v 4: "And Nadab and Abihu died before
the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father."
These two priests offered strange fire, or performed some pagan ritual, that was such an abomination that God just wiped them out. Our God wiped out millions of people through the Flood, and when He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. They were so full of evil and sin that He was sorry He had created mankind at all.
These are the things that displease the Lord and the church is full of wrong practices. The New Age doctrines that have been twisted into Christian truth are causing people to follow after demons, being bewitched by them.
In Galatians Paul asked who had bewitched them to turn aside from the power of the Holy Spirit to go back under the Jewish Law. Keeping Sabbath, keeping all the feasts, keeping all the laws. Jesus cried out on the Cross, IT IS FINISHED!! He was referring to the bondage to the Law. All the Law did was make people guilty. Jesus death made that slate of guilt clean by His Blood.
Revelation 17 v 6 - 9: "And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth."
This is what the Lord showed in mighty visions to the Apostle John, of the things that would happen on this planet before He returned. The scripture above is what He revealed about the Church of Rome, the Roman Catholic Church, the false Mary who is worshipped above Jesus, on the seven mountains.
I have written many blogs showing how this church is not based on the Lordship of Jesus but on a revival of pagan Babylonian religion, which followed Semiramis the witch who elevated her son, Nimrod, to be the god, Baal, then married him to be a goddess. Read the whole chapter 17 of Revelation to see God's judgment on this church. Being in agreement with it blocks the anointing. Helping people get out of this bondage is a true blessing.
There are many crazy Galatians who are living in error under the Mosaic Law today. They have lost their anointing. Their salvation is dangling by a thread. They are like the Pharisees, full of pride and hypocrisy. Paul had a stand up argument with Peter in Acts because Peter, when he was amongst Jews, became more Jewish than Christian.
I was watching the tennis final at Queens yesterday and every time a player made the smallest error there were judges all over the place yelling OUT. That meant tennis law had been infringed. In the Spirit realm, Satan does that to us all the time. Jesus calls him Satan, meaning Accuser of the Brethren. We are the Brethren, brothers and sisters of Jesus.
Whenever we do sin, the Accuser is quick to announce it expecting God to kill us. The wages of sin is death. However, our Advocate is Jesus Christ Himself. He took all our sin so He stands before God and says I DID IT. If our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life then God declares Not Guilty.
However, the Holy Spirit makes sure we keep short accounts of wrongs and He will bother us until we put it right. Repent, change your mind about that wrong thing or the bothering may increase into actual pain.
Many Christians need deliverance from demons. They are ignorant of what that means. We may inherit an ancestral curse that is passed down from generation to generation. Like the famous Kennedy family in the USA. The original Kennedy brought whisky to America and sold it to the Red Indian tribes causing much trouble and many deaths.
No doubt a sober Indian Medicine Man cursed him for changing the peace pipe into an instrument that brought drunkenness, violence, hatred and death to the tribes. The untimely deaths and scandals of prominent Kennedy's is the work of demons. No matter who shot them, or caused planes to crash into the sea, or however it occurred, Satan was responsible.
That's just one example. Death is the result of sin. Our own or somewhere back in the family. Sin results in disease and death. Is Covid God speeding up judgment and taking out people who refuse to repent or forgive or submit to Him? Is it another type of Flood clearing the way for the coming of Jesus?
We are living in the days leading up to His coming. Actually, these are the greatest days to be alive and a Christian. The end is nigh, the power of the world is having its last hurrahs before their time is up. We will be caught up in the Rapture. We will see Jesus and never need blind faith again.
We will be with Him forever and live a thousand years seeing this planet restored to pristine beauty. All animals will be tame, no poisonous anything. The oceans will be clean, no food shortages, no diseases, no sin, no death. Oh and best of all no politicians, no countries, no governments, everything free.
So let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory unto Him. Let us do our utmost to save those we can, and not stop until it's over. Let us become holy, sinless, loving, kind, even-tempered people. Let us love, pray and give till it hurts. Do not squander the precious anointing to glorify men who have lost the plot. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves said the Lord.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, everything is unfolding as You planned and we need to keep pressing on to reach the high calling of God. We do not want to be blocked from You O God because of strange practices and doctrines, curses and demons. We do not want to lose our anointing for follies and errors of judgment. Help us dear Lord to make the effort to remain Your beloved children in whom You are well pleased. In Jesus' name. Amen.
