Scripture: Galatians 3 v 26 - 29: "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
John 17 v 9 - 11: "I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are."
Our first need is to understand that the name Christ is not the surname of Jesus, it means The Anointed One. To anoint a person a special holy oil is poured over a person's head to separate them to our Father for His will and purpose. The Son of God had a purpose no other could do, save sinners from Hell, and transform them into saints who would be like Him and follow His ways.
Exodus 30 v 30 - 31: "And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.
31 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations."
Jesus did many things to demonstrate the power of the Kingdom of God. He raised the dead, healed the sick, cast out demons and proclaimed the truth. Our God has given us to Him to become one with Him and with the Trinity. Mathematically, its not 1 + 1 +1 +1 =1, its 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 = 1. The Godhead is multiplied by its members to maintain total unity.
The New Creation, that's us, is told by Paul that we are no longer different nationalities, i.e. No Jew nor Greek (nor South African, British or American) because in God's Kingdom we are His children without ANY division. The world keeps these divisions very much alive with borders, custom duties, cultures, currency, anthems, the Olympics. We cling fiercely to our national pride, to be the best, to shine before the world. It's hard to hear but it means nothing to God.
There are no British or South African Christians, compared to African Americans or British Asians. Christians have moved out of the world arena and are now seated in Christ in Heavenly places. We need to grasp this transformation in its reality to begin to live the true Christian life without conforming to the world. Yes, we need passports to travel, and identity documents to vote and do business, or banking. We are passing through this world, but no longer of it.
There are no bondslaves or freemen. We belong lock, stock and barrel to Jesus who created us, lost us to Satan, repurchased us through His death on the Cross. He owns everything that has our name on it, our homes, cars, businesses, bank accounts and relationships. He is Lord over us and all we possess.
This also means there are no races, black, white, red, yellow or any mixture of them. All racism must cease at the Cross because we are one. Outside of Jesus we are just a heap of clay. Dead and cast aside. Inside of Jesus we are living abundantly, doing what He asks us to do, members of His Body.
In Christ Jesus there is no male nor female, nor, it, them, they, LGBTQ+, no sexual identity at all. We are spirits brought back to life to be part of the body of Jesus Christ. To move when He moves, to obey Him because He is our life. The very breath in our bodies came from Him. When it leaves us we are buried. We have the form of male and female in this world in order to procreate until all the broken souls have equal opportunity to submit to God and be restored.
In Satan's world the very opposite of these things is being pushed to the limit. We cannot serve God and Mammon (the world) because they are totally opposed to each other. We must choose the one over the other or be plunged into confusion.
We cannot stop the Antichrist. He is already here and flexing his muscles in the human race to flaunt his power before the Throne of God. His pride and arrogance are his downfall, he cannot win in the end. He will be thrown into the unquenchable lake of fire for eternity with the Beast and the False Prophet. All those who rejected salvation through Jesus Christ will join them for eternity. No exceptions.
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory to be one with the Trinity with our spirits already enjoying eternal life so that when we die as soon as our souls are absent from our body, we are present with the Lord. No other religion, cult or sect offers anything close to this. Eastern religions best deal is reincarnation where you return multiple times to earth as anything from an ant to an avatar. And eventually if you succeed you may reach Nirvana whatever that is.
Rather let us be certain that our final destination is in Heaven with God. Unity in Spirit is essential! Let us remove the divisions caused by what men have added or subtracted from the Bible by knowing it so well that we recognise truth from error. We need to share that which is true so everyone is singing from the same hymnsheet.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You so want us to renew our minds to the things written in the Bible that we seem to brush off as inconvenient truths. However, they remain truth, and to walk in truth we must acknowledge them and be diligent to do them. Help us, Lord, to please You by conforming to Your Word and truly becoming one with all Christians. In Jesus' name. Amen.
