Scripture: Joel 2 v 28 - 32: " And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call."
Joel was an Old Testament prophet with a powerful message for Christians today. There is a variety of events on the word "afterward". He knew that mighty things were coming on this planet, such as the advent of the Messiah, His life and death, followed by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and his gifts.
However Jesus was seeing a time when the end of the world was near when the future would be turbulent before the terrible day of the Lord would come. Before this great tribulation the Holy Spirit would be poured out upon mankind.
This is huge step further than the Day of Pentecost and the Ascension of Jesus to Heaven. The Holy Spirit only came upon born again, baptized believers. Before this time, in the Old Testament, the Spirit only came upon the prophets for the time of their progressing, and upon judges and kings.
When the signs Jesus spoke of come upon the world it will alert us to the nearness of the Rapture. This is already happening all around us. One of the major signs will be a 7 year peace treaty as prophesied by Daniel. It will be signed by every Arab Moslem country, not just Palestine and Hamas.
A truce must be declared because Israel is sitting on a ticking time bomb. The latest hostage negotiations with Hams include Israel restoring the land they won back in the war of 1967 plus creating a new Palestinian state with Jerusalem as their capital.
Losing the Old City again! Giving up the West Bank and its security!! Its never going to happen! Israel knows Hamas is trying to reinvent themselves as the good guys to make Israel look bad for rejecting their kind offer.
When Israel signs the peace treaty with all Arab nations set your clocks for seven years. Somewhere within this timeframe the Rapture will take place. There is no knowing the exact time as even Jesus Himself does not know. A signatory to this peace treaty will be the chief peacemaker, The Antichrist!
Do not fear this Antichrist. Our God has all things under His control. He must expose Satan in all his evil ways to show the world what they are being deceived by. Especially Israel who have been brainwashed by Satan to reject Jesus as their Messiah. Their eyes will be opened when the Antichrist stands in the Holy of Holies in the rebuilt Temple and declares himself God. By this time the Rapture will have taken place and there will be no Christians to challenge him.
Prior to the Rapture comes the spiritual outpouring on all flesh. People will dream dreams and see visions. Many will prophesy and great wonders will be seen in the heavens and on Earth. Many healings and deliverances will take place.
Acts 5 v 14 - 16: "And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one."
The final outpouring of the Holy Spirit will achieve far more than the early Church did in the above verses. If the shadow of Peter healed the sick, that was amazing faith. When everyone on Earth has the power of the Holy Spirit upon them what an amazing time it will be. Coming to you and everyone around you very soon now. But don't wait for that day when you can have this right now!
Hospitals, asylums, jails will empty as Jesus sets them free. By Biblical counts within this seven years half the population of Earth will become believers in Jesus. Meaning that even those who have the Holy Spirit can and will still reject the Lordship of Jesus. This will be the final assessment before the Rapture.
Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus and other faiths are already having dreams and visitations. A woman phoned me late one night after a friend shared a recent dream in which an anguished woman was shouting at her in Hebrew. The words were translated... people from the Old Testament want her to shout about salvation from the mountain tops.
In Iran today there is the fastest growth of Christianity than in any other country. The Iranian Guard of ISIS militants that funded Hamas and Hezbollah to annihilate Israel on 7 October 2023, are in serious minority in Iran. They have been unable to stop Iranians flocking to Jesus Christ.
In the discourse of Jesus on end times signs...Matt 24 v 14 - 16: "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:"
Verse 15 refers to the Antichrist declaring himself God!
V 29 - 31 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
These words spoken before His death amplify the words of Joel in a clear message to us all in these turbulent times. The Temple will be rebuilt.
It's vital that people come together for revival to bring unity and direction to the Body of Christ.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, the prophecies of end times are causing urgency in our prayers which excite us and frighten some. We pray that more than half the world will be saved to enjoy the wonders to come. Help us to be instruments of righteousness in these last days. In Jesus' name. Amen.
