Scripture: John 8 v 31 - 32: "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."The late Dave Hunt said that the above scriptures revealed three things about truth and scripture :
"1. God's Word is 100 percent true without any error ("my word...the truth");
2. All truth is in God's Word ("ye will know the truth," not part of the truth); and
3. Knowing the truth is contingent upon obedience to the authority of God's Word ("if ye continue in my word"—obviously not just reading or memorizing but obeying). These attributes of Scripture (inerrancy, sufficiency and authority) are like the legs of a three-legged stool: remove any one and the whole cannot stand."
In these days when the Antichrist, the Father of Lies, is rapidly rising, and fake news, misinformation, rumour and untruths abound, we need one absolute truth to hold on to.
John 14 v 6: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Jesus is the truth, as stated from His own lips about Himself. Adding that nobody comes to the Father except through Him. Jesus is the Door. There is no other way, no other Name through which we can be saved and have eternal life.
This Earth has been poisoned, polluted, and pounded by storms, earthquakes and volcanoes. It's virtually on life-support. But after the Great Tribulation there comes the 1000 years of peace and restoration, which Jesus will bring to us and we will be here to do our part.
But we must live in truth, share it and never compromise it. We cannot blend truth and lies, that is totally unacceptable. We cannot serve God and Mammon (the world). Numbers 3 v 4: "And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father."
This strange fire is very common today. It is manifested in the blending and mixing of religions into the One World Church. Even Archbishop Desmond Tutu's funeral was Interfaith. As the word says....Interfaith. And its the false rock upon which the Antichrist will build the One World Church.
The plan is already in action in Communist China where the state-run Three Self Church is the only one allowed. However, in every village and town throughout China there is a thriving Spirit-filled Christian ministry that was birthed by the Holy Spirit without Bibles or any other literature. It's an underground movement the authorities are desperate to control. It is based in the Truth and protected by Him.
The Bible is The Word and Jesus Christ is The Word. He is The Word made flesh, manifested as a Man. The more we know and read the Word, the more we come to know Jesus.
Dave Hunt also wrote this:
"John Paul II traveled the world to promote Catholicism's traditional tolerance of pagan religions. At the Universities of Calcutta and New Delhi in his 1986 visit to India, the Pope told huge Hindu audiences that he had not come there to teach them anything but to learn from their "rich spiritual heritage."
As worldwide ecumenism's diplomat-at-large he went on to declare, "India's mission...is crucial, because of her intuition of the spiritual nature of man. Indeed, India's greatest contribution to the world can be to offer it a spiritual vision of man."
"And the world does well to attend willingly to this ancient wisdom and in it to find enrichment for human living."
Such praise of Hinduism by the leader of world Christendom seems inconceivable. Yet such tolerant acceptance of all religions is exactly what will be required to unite mankind under Antichrist. We cannot stop the ecumenical movement, but we must rescue as many individuals as possible before it is too late."
So the remnant of Believers in Jesus is caught between Communism, Catholicism, Islam and a bunch of other religions. At Interfaith meetings Christians are urged not to say the name of Jesus but rather use "God". Otherwise other faiths get offended. Jesus offends them.
The only ones that really take offense are the demon spirits that control the false religions. The name of Jesus has such power that the demons tremble with fear. They know what havoc that name will cause. So did the Pharisees after the ascension of Jesus.
Acts 4 v 16 - 20: "Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."
So beloved believers we need to go on a Truth offensive and speak, pray, and praise the name of Jesus. Let us frighten the Devil and his demons back to Hell. We have the power and the truth to shake this world and turn it upside down to His glory. Let's make Jesus real to those who deny Him. Let's testify of the great things He has done for us.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You have sent the Holy Spirit so that we can be witnesses to Jesus, to declare His name and truth. We are Your ambassadors, who must promote Your Kingdom. Help us get this right O Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.
